Get ready, New South Wales—the PPA Tour Australia and MLP Australia are returning to Tweed Heads this April 3-6, 2025 for the NSW Cup, and it’s set to be an action-packed event with over $110,000 in prize money! This event will kick off the 2025 season in grand style, with top players from across Australia and New Zealand battling for supremacy in the first of many exciting tournaments in the season.

 

Event Schedule:

Thursday, April 3:
Qualifying Rounds for PPA Pro Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles (Starting at 4:00 PM)
Friday, April 4:
Singles Tournament
Saturday, April 5:
Mixed Doubles
Sunday, April 6:
Gender Doubles (Men’s and Women’s)

 

Registration Information:

General Registration: Opens January 15, 2025
Deadline for PPA Pro Registration: March 23, 2025
Note: Pro players must register for qualifying rounds.
Entry Fee: $90/player (First event free!)

 

Tournament Format & Rules:

 

PRO Format:

Players must compete in qualifiers for a spot in the main draw.
Top 8 players/teams from qualifiers will enter the main draw.
Matches are single elimination with 2/3 games to 11 points (win by 2).
Consolation rounds for losing teams: One game to 15 points (win by 2).

 

OPEN 19+ & MASTERS (3.0-4.0):

Pool play format, with the top teams advancing to the main draw (best 2/3 to 11 points).
Consolation matches will be 1 game to 15, win by 2.

 

Juniors: Rising stars Under 16 will showcase their talents in the Juniors Tour!
